Caren Marsh-Doll, 101 Years Old

Stage performer and dancer Caren Marsh-Doll became well known in the industry as one of the top talents of her time. She was head and shoulders above the competition but wasn’t lucky enough to get public attention since most of her act revolved around doubling for certain actresses in the industry. She appeared in a couple of films from the ‘30s up until the late ‘50s.

She appeared in a small number of anonymous works in the film Gone with the wind, and then took up a second career as a dance teacher. Her peers gave her a lot of respect for the work she did as a dance double for Judy Garland in the film The Wizard of Oz. We bet if the internet was already a thing during that time, she’ll surely have her own online classes for dancing.
