James Darren, 84 Years Old

The actor, singer, and director James Darren had quite a remarkable run in the entertainment landscape over the last couple of decades, especially during his time with the sci-fi series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. On top of that, he also managed to pull off a couple of hit singles along the way making a solid career out of his singing as well. Even though he didn’t think he was a singer, he only sang occasionally.

From the way his career path brought him, he never experienced any issues with his finances and personal loans were not even an option for him. He truly made the most of his show business career overall. He has also starred in the movies Rumble on the Docks, Operation Mad Bull, The Brothers Rico. In 1959 Darren was nominated for a Laurel Award for Top Male New Personality.
