She’s one of the prime figures during the Golden Age of Hollywood and is considered a living legend even by today’s standards. She worked with Marlon Brando for the first time in the film On the Waterfront,which helped her win an Academy Award, a breakthrough in her career. She began to participate in the production of various feature films.
