ROBERT REDFORD, 84 YEARS OLD
Robert Redford has a lot of credits to his name. Aside from being a movie icon, he is also one of the 100 most influential people in the world and the founder of the Sundance Film Festival. The achievements he has attained don’t end there. In his career spanning six decades, he received the Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2002.He received a second Academy Award—for Lifetime Achievement—in 2002. In 2010, he was made a chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur.
He has won BAFTA, Directors Guild of America, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild awards. Sadly, in 2018, Robert announced his retirement from acting after completing his last movie The Old Man & The Gun, for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination for playing the role of a bank robber. However, before he officially said goodbye to the industry that made him famous, Robert made a brief appearance in the 2019 movie Avengers: Endgame, which was filmed in 2017.
