Fans may best remember Sharon Gless as Maggie Philbin in the TV series, Switch. But it is just one of the too many roles that she played, which left a mark on many’s minds. She was Sgt. Christine Cagney on Cagney & Lacey, Rosie O’Neill on The Trials of Rose O’Neill, Debbie Novotny on Queer as Folk, and Madeline Westen on Burn Notice.

At 77, Gless continuously blessed us with her incredible talent, which, of course, never went unnoticed. She has received 10 Emmy Award nominations and seven Golden Globe Award nominations. Gless has bagged a few, along with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995. The main source of her net worth is her acting career. To her credit, she has been part of the longest-running medical drama, Casualty, playing a surgeon’s role in 2017.
