John Astin, 90 Years Old

The actor John Astin was the man behind Gomez Addams, an iconic character that came from the classic hit show The Addams Family. With that role, he cemented his legacy as one of the most memorable actors of all time. Aside from playing memorable characters, he also showed to his peers his acting prowess, which earned him a couple of recognitions from various award-giving bodies.

He is best known for starring as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family (1964–1966), reprising the role in the television film Halloween with the New Addams Family and the animated series The Addams Family. His second wife was actress Patty Duke and he is the adoptive father of Duke’s son, actor Sean Astin. He’s not that active anymore compared to his prime but over the past couple of years, he still managed to secure voice acting jobs. Not that he needed it for paying up his loan or something but just for the fun out of it.
