Marcy McGuire, 94 Years Old

Actress, singer, and songwriter Marcy McGuire was a respected figure in the entertainment industry during her active years that spanned from the ‘40s up until the early part of the ‘60s. Now that may not be long compared to some but she made the most out of it and pretty much utilized every moment she had under the limelight. After that, she took on the full-time role of being a wife and mother for her kids. McGuire’s penultimate film before retiring from Hollywood was Jumping Jacks, with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

She also had a minor uncredited role in Disney’s Summer Magic as a young maid named Ellen by putting on an Irish accent before her permanent retirement. She was married to actor Wally Cassell from 1947 until his death in 2015. The couple had two children. With her top-notch money management skills, she easily made her way towards a peaceful and quiet life, away from the busy buzzing of Hollywood.
