Bern Nadette Stanis, 66 Years Old

The actress and author, Bern Nadette Stanis, first tasted what it felt like to be at the top of the entertainment world after she played the role of Thelma Ann Evans–Anderson in the hit sitcom Good Times. After the show ended, fans speculated that she appeared in an insurance commercial but she actually never confirmed it. Stanis is the author of four books: Situations 101: Relationships, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly; For Men Only; Situations 101: Finances; and The Last Night. She later appeared on the TV One show Life After.

In July 2016, Stanis appeared on an episode of Centric’s Being, discussing her life and career. Whatever the case may be, it’s good that she still has a couple of gigs that helped her keep the lights up and running. Also, from the looks of things, she didn’t need any of that thanks to the money she saved from her acting years.
