Jennifer Jason Leigh, 59 Years Old
Jennifer Jason Leigh started her acting career on the small screen in the 1970s, but she got her big break in the 1982 film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. From here, she started to receive critical praise for her performances in the movies Miami Blue, Last Exit to Brooklyn, Backdraft, Single White Female, and Short Cuts. Leigh also tried her luck behind the camera, working as a co-writer and co-director of the 2001 comedy film, The Anniversary Party.
Leigh didn’t stop her acting credibility with these feats; she also lent her voice for the Charlie Kaufman movie Anomalisa, where she received critical acclaims. She also earned a nomination for her part in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. Today, she continuously gets credits for her role in the comedy-drama series Atypical. For her stage work, Leigh was nominated for a Drama Desk award for her off-Broadway performance as Beverly Moss in Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party.
