Donna Mills, 79 Years Old

Donna Mills started her acting career in the 1960s with a recurring role on The Secret Storm in 1966. In the same year, she did the Woody Allen comedy, Don’t Drink the Water, on Broadway. In 1967, she finally made it to the big screen with the movie The Incident. From one acting project to another, she did the soap opera Love is a Many Splendored Thing, followed by a film, opposite Clint Eastwood, Play Misty for Me.

She then became a part of Knots Landing from 1980 to 1989, winning the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Villainess. Her portrayal was so convincing she won the award three times – in 1986, 1988, and 1989. To some degree, it opened the door for her to do several other TV series. In 2014, she joined the cast of long-running daytime soap opera General Hospital, for which she won a 2015 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series.
