NATHALIE MARCIANO | BEVERLY HILLS | $20 MILLION

While it’s no longer surprising to see Hollywood homes price tagged at the millions, it still is quite amazing to see the unique elements that gave the homes such hefty prices. Like this $20 million single-story home formerly owned by Hollywood producer Nathalie Marciano. What’s interesting about this house is that it’s a single-story home, yet its price tag rivals those of mansions with huge living spaces and multi-level structures. So what is it about this single-story home that makes it so expensive?

To start off, the home is enveloped by sturdy gates with installed security systems and thick hedges, which helps make the home paparazzi-proof. The gates also lead to a large motor court that could fit up to 12 cars. The interior of the house has also been meticulously designed and decorated with some of the most unique and expensive art pieces, like a Yoshitomo Nara painting that hangs over the home’s living room. The design of the house is mainly minimalist, in essence, with large open spaces and tall glass doors that swing into the sprawling backyard.
