However, in real life, Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who played Edward in the movies, were a real deal. They were such a huge love team when they were together. When Stewart moved forward with another movie, however, she apparently moved forward with another man as well. She was caught having an affair with Rupert Sanders, her director in Snow White and the Huntsman. After the affair, Stewart and Sanders went back to their partners, but her beau moved out after a bit, while Sanders’ wife hired a divorce lawyer.

Jude Law, Sienna Miller, The Nanny

Before Jennifer Garner’s and Gwen Stefani’s heartbreaking household discoveries with their husbands, it was Jude Law who started the nanny-dating game. He was engaged to Sienna Miller when he was caught having an affair with the nanny of his children with his former wife, Sadie Frost. Daisy Wright, the lucky nanny, was the one who revealed her relationship with Law to the public. The juicy gossip traveled fast, and though Law and Miller broke off the engagement, they got back together and then off again a few more times before finally going their separate ways in 2011. It looks like home security has become so much tougher for these celebrities. You can’t just trust anyone inside your home these days anymore.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe were not only co-actors on Cruel Intentions, but they were also husband and wife for seven years. The couple already had two kids together when they decided to hire a divorce attorney in 2006. Rumors circulated about the cause of their breakup, of course. Gossip had it that the reason Witherspoon wanted to split up with Phillippe was that he was cheating on her with his Stop-Loss co-actor Abbie Cornish. As it followed, Phillippe and Cornish started dating the same year the divorce was filed. Unfortunately, the two did not last very long, either. They broke up after four years of being together. We never know what is going to make love last in Hollywood.

In Laguna Beach, the stars Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, and Lauren Conrad were in a love triangle on the screen. Apparently, this was true off-screen also. Cavallari shared in an interview with Buzzfeed that the love triangle everyone saw on screen was already true, but the acting it out on screen just made it a degree worse. She said that she speculated that MTV was prolonging the issue by having her boyfriend Colletti at the time hanging out with Conrad. She admitted to having found it hard even though it was something she had to put up with day to day because of work. See? The workplace could still be a tough place even though you’re a celebrity. The viewers did enjoy the show, though.

Shania Twain, Mutt Lange, Marie Anne Thiebaud

Life is indeed stranger than fiction, and this movie-like plot had to happen to real-life celebrities as well. The legendary country singer Shania Twain was married to Mutt Lange, her producer and the love of her life at the time. They have been married for 14 years when Lange decided to move on with Twain’s best friend, Marie Anne Thiebaud. Though this crushed her heart and caused quite a scandal, she moved on. What makes the story a degree better is that the person she found to move on with was Thiebaud’s former husband Frederic, with whom she is now married to. While Twain and Thiebaud just exchanged partners, we wonder if they still go on best friend double dates together.

Supermodel Bella Hadid and singer The Weeknd dated each other for over a year up until November 2016, when they decided to break up. After this, pop star Selena Gomez was seen dating The Weeknd. Because of this, Hadid unfollowed Gomez on Instagram, making the public speculate on rising issues. After about a year of dating, however, Gomez and The Weeknd called it quits as well. The breakup with Gomez made him return to Hadid, and the two became a couple again and are still happy up until today. Meanwhile, Gomez was seen returning to her ex Justin Bieber as well. When 2018 came, however, we all know Jelena split for good. We guess returning to your ex after a split is not necessarily insurance for a happy ending.

Remember the time Orlando Bloom punched Justin Bieber? This happened right after the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show back in 2012, at a restaurant where the three were all present. Apparently, Bieber was flirting with Miranda Kerr, Bloom’s wife at the time, while he was also in the room. After a while of putting up with the child, he finally had it and punched him. No matter what the reason Bieber had for hitting on someone else’s wife, it was just not justifiable. He didn’t even care that Bloom was sitting right next to her, too. Currently, Bieber is now married to Hailey Baldwin, and Kerr and Bloom are no longer together. They had to hire a divorce lawyer after some time for other issues.

Demi Lovato, Wilmer Valderrama, Minka Kelly

Singer Demi Lovato and actor Wilmer Valderrama have been together for six years before they broke up in June 2016. They announced their breakup through Instagram. After the heartbreaking split, reports came that Valderrama was reportedly dating his former lover Minka Kelly. Because of this, Lovato tweeted, “You have to be capable of being honest with yourself before you can get honest with other people,” which was believed to be directed at her ex-boyfriend. Valderamma got credit for being the longest boyfriend Lovato has ever been with at the time despite their evident age gap, and she was quite vocal about her sadness about their breakup. Her fans were on her side the whole time as well. She’s better now, though!

Ashton Kutcher used to be married to Demi Moore. The two actors became such a Hollywood “It couple” when they were dating and a degree more when they finally tied the knot. They remained married for eight years. One of the reasons for the infamous breakup is that Kutcher had apparently cheated on Moore. He didn’t just cheat on her with one girl, though. He had an affair with two girls in a hot tub in the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel. Years later, this scandal was confirmed by Scott Eastwood because he claimed to have been dating one of the girls who were present with Kutcher in the tub back then. Kutcher might have broken so many hearts that night.

Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid used to date each other, but because of their busy schedules, things did not work out well for them. According to a reliable source, their split wasn’t anything big, but apparently, Jonas did not feel this way. When he heard that Hadid started dating his good friend Zayn Malik, he immediately deleted all photos he had with the former One Direction member and unfollowed both him and his ex on Instagram. Maybe the degree of bitterness Jonas felt from the breakup did not reach the public, but he definitely did not like the looks of Hadid moving on with one of his besties. Now that Malik and Hadid are expecting a baby, has he finally moved on?
